Although
Trilix Research is a relatively new division of Trilix, it is managed by
Dale Engelken, a marketing professional with more than 20 years of research
experience. Dale blends the book smarts of a University of Iowa MBA with
the street smarts gained as a member of the marketing team for such Iowa
companies as Meredith Corporation, The Principal Financial Group and the
Cedar Rapids Gazette.
In 2001, he built on those experiences by opening Genesis Marketing and Research, Inc. in Des Moines. Clients of his firm included Meredith Corporation, Bankers Trust, Mars, Marsh, MidAmerican Energy, Casey’s General Stores, Tassel Ridge Winery and Health Focus International. His research expertise includes publishing, advertising, healthcare, banking, insurance, software, agriculture and food services. A life-long learner, Dale is an active member of the American Marketing Association and is a Professional Certified Marketer. He has passed several life and health insurance proficiency tests and has a Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation. He also volunteers his time and talent to local charities in need of marketing and research services.
